Travel Essential Checklist
Whether you are a wanderlust or a first-time traveller, it is always beneficial to be prepared for the journey and pack all of the necessary. A travel checklist ensures that you don't forget anything important for a successful holiday.
1. Sanitizer & Mask
In light of the current pandemic situation, sanitizer and mask have become one of the most important travel necessities. When you travel with a hand sanitizer, you may clean your hands whenever and wherever you want without having to seek for soap and water. It assists you in maintaining constant hygiene. Carrying a set of masks with you when travelling can keep you safe from coming into close contact with sick people around you and will keep you safe in locations where you cannot maintain social distance.
2. Portable Charger & Power Surge Protector
Carrying a portable charger is essential because you never know where you will find a charging point. Power Surge Protector is also important since it protects you against unknown voltage spikes and power surges.
3. Medical Kit
It is always better to be safe than sorry. Make sure you have your prescription medicines and other prescriptions on hand in case you feel ill due to a headache, stomach problem, or other ailments. Make a small, portable first-aid kit containing medications for all potential allergies and take it with you everywhere you go.
4. Documents
Last-minute haphazardness always results in our missing vital documentation. Ensure that all paperwork are ready ahead of time and double-check them before leaving the house. A travel wallet is exactly what you need. It can be used to keep track of all your important documents, such as your passport, AADHAR card, and travel tickets. In addition to paperwork, you can use them to keep currencies, credit cards, hotel key cards, and a variety of other goods.
5. Well Planned Set of Clothes
The destination should always be kept in mind when packing. Pack cardigans, sweaters, and other winter clothing if you're travelling somewhere cold. However, if you're going to the beach, casual, light clothing will suffice. It is usually a good idea to pack an additional set of clothes in case the airline misplaces your luggage. It is critical to consider the number of garments being packed, as too many clothes can increase the baggage weight.
6. Local Currency
We recommend locating a local currency exchange near you to receive a better rate than changing money at the airport. Not sure how much to bring? Estimate how much money you'll need for each day and work from there.
7. Reusable Water Bottles
To stay hydrated on the road, always keep a water bottle with you. Most travel backpacks contain a water bottle section that is easily accessible when walking. Reusable water bottles are not only better for the environment, but they are also a terrific way to save money because you won't have to constantly buying more.
8. Travel Pillow
If it fits in your bag, this is a fantastic addition that will make your excursions on trains, aircraft, boats, and autos a lot more joyful. Some even have hoods for you fashion-conscious backpackers.
9. Journal Or Diary
Another fantastic approach to keep track of your travel memories is to keep a travel journal or diary. It's easy to lose sight of everything you've done and everyone you've met along the road, especially on a longer journey. A diary can also be used as a route planner or a phone directory.
10. GPS or MAP
When trying to travel around a city, having access to a GPS App on your mobile phone will come in handy. You'll be fine if you download Maps. However, it's always a good idea to include a backup map in case you lose signal.
